■3rd Person POV■

It's been two months since Tendou and Y/N became friends. Y/N keeps coming to his shop at least every three days. But since two weeks ago, she couldn't come due to her load of work. But though she didn't come for almost two weeks, they still talk on chat.

But today, Y/N gets to finish her job early. She tidies up her desk and puts her stuff in her bag, and then she pulls out her phone.

Sender: Y/N
Recipient: Tendou Satori

Satori san, good evening. Can I come to your shop today? I've finished my job earlier.

Y/N has been really comfortable talking with Tendou about her problem. These days, though they still talk in chat, Y/N somehow doesn't feel content and hopes she could come to the shop.

Ting!

Sender: Tendou Satori
Recipient: Y/N

Of course, you can
Come, I'll make something new again then.
I'll be waiting (๑¯∇¯๑)

Reading his replies makes her chuckles a little. She takes her bag and says goodbye to her coworkers and gets inside the elevator.

When she walks out of the elevator and heads to the exit with a happy face. A man was looking at her from one of the hallways. Looking at how her beautiful hair swayed as she walks out of the office.

Miki: Sogo senpai... why are you zoning out? What are you looking at?

Miki looks at where Sogo eyes are staring but sees nothing besides the automatic door, Y/N has left.

Sogo: ah... nothing...

Miki: well, so... can we have dinner together today senpai?

Sogo glances at the door where Y/N just left and sighs. He looks at the woman in front of him, his current girlfriend, the one that he chooses over Y/N.

Sogo: sure...

The two walks out of the building and go turn right. But Sogo looks back at where Y/N head, which is not her way home.

Sogo: where is she going?

On the other place, Y/N has arrived at Tendou's shop. She slowly pushes the glass door open, making the bell chimes. The sound of the door makes everyone looks her way.

Worker1: ooh, L/N san... welcome...

Y/N: good evening...

Y/N sits on the stool near the counter and one of the workers serves water for her.

Workee2: I guess you're busy these days?

Y/N: thank you... yes, one of my colleagues from my division resigned because she's getting married, and we're sort of understaffed so... yeah...

Worker1: ah you work hard L/N san... wait, Tendou san is busy in the kitchen at the moment...

Tendou: not anymore~

Tendou peek from the kitchen, (e/c) meet dark red and the to peoples feels a bit fuzzy from just seeing each other.

Tendou: welcome Y/N chan~

Y/N: good evening Satori san...

Like always, Y/N waits until the shop is closed and the workers say goodbye to them.

Tendou: now~ let's do our routine...

Tendou walks into the kitchen and opens the cooler. He pulls out a chocolate cake and serves it to Y/N.

Y/N: a new one?

Tendou: my new triple choco opera~

Y/N takes a bite and Tendou could see how she looks happy whenever she eats whatever she made.

Y/N: it's really good

Tendou smiles.

Tendou: glad you like it...

■Tendou's POV■

Y/N finished her cake and I take the plates to the sink while talking to her.

Tendou: so, how are you feeling these days? Better?

Y/N like always, playing with the cup of her drink while answering.

Y/N: um I think... maybe because I have work and pretty busy lately... I don't really think about it a lot...

I walk back and sits next to her on the empty stool.

Tendou: still avoid him when you see him?

Y/N shook her head no.

Y/N: I uh... haven't seen him since that day... maybe because I stayed late and we didn't pass on the hallway...

How do you feel about him now?

Tendou: so you still have him on your mind?

Y/N looks at her chocolate shake.

Y/N: um... not that much... but sometimes, I can't help but think about him... hihi... I'm so silly right...

Dub dub

Seeing how she force a smile like that, makes my heart clench. Moreover knowing that she still has feelings for another man, somehow I don't like to hear that.

Y/N: but...

I look at Y/N as she's smiling at me.

Y/N: thank Satori san... you're the one who helped me to start forgetting about him... like right now... when I'm with you, eating the dessert you made, talking to you...

Y/N's smiles ever so sweetly at me and that makes my heart racing a bit more.

Y/N: a thought of him never cross my mind... I'm glad I can come to see you today...

How her giggling voice entices me. This woman that I've met two months ago, crying in front of my shop on a rainy day, now smiling as bright as a sunny day.

Warm...

Seeing her smiling like that makes me feel warm and I want to keep feeling it. A crazy idea crossed my mind but I guess it's not just a random Idea, it's what I really want.

Tendou: then... why don't you use me as a diversion?

Y/N looks at me, eyes widened.

Y/N: um... what... do you mean?

If being with me can help you forget about him...

Then, I want you to think of me instead...

■Y/N's POV■

I was surprised when Satori san says that.

Tendou: you said when you're with me you forget about him... then use me as a diversion... so you don't have to think about him...

That's...

Y/N: no... I... I can't do that to you... Satori san... you're a friend of mine now, a precious one... I don't want to use you like that...

I look down.

Y/N: it'll make me feel bad...

Satori san is a sweet guy and he's so kind. There's no way I'm using him as a diversion so I could forget about Sogo san.

Tendou: then...

I look up at Satori san, somehow he looks different. The way he stares at me, it's not his usual boyish face, he looks more like

A man...

Tendou: then... what if I make you fall in love with me?

What does that mean?

I'm sure my face is red because I can feel how warm it is after he said that.

Y/N: S-Sato... Satori san... wh-what do you mean?

Satori san leans in closer and I can't see his usual playfulness demeanor. Satori san is so close to my face.

Tendou: well... I mean what I mean...

He reaches a hand and I shut my eyes, can't help with the tension. Then I feel a hand touches my hair. Satori san is tucking my hair behind my ear.

I open my eyes to see him smiling so close to me.

Tendou: if you don't want to use me then... I'll make you fall in love with me instead.... that way...

He's smirking

Tendou: your mind will be occupied with me right? No space for another...

My heart is racing, it's beating faster than it's ever been.

Tendou: that's... fine right?

I can't think straight...
